The School of Education and Psychology are looking to recruit two Functional Skills Tutors in English and Maths to deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on Functional Skills for apprenticeship programmes.
The key duties of the role-holder will be to develop the maths and English skills of apprenticeships and to support with the embedding of maths and English into apprenticeship programmes.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a knowledge of OFSTED standards and procedures as well as possessing up to date knowledge of a variety of teaching methods for a range of age groups. A degree or professional qualification (or equivalent) in English or Maths as well as a relevant teaching qualification are essential for this role.
