LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university
The LSE School of Public Policy equips students with the skills and ideas to transform people and societies. We are an international community where ideas and practice meet, creating professionals with the ability to analyse, understand and resolve the challenges of contemporary governance.
We are now seeking an Alumni Engagement Executive to develop further our global and high-achieving network of alumni. The post-holder will work directly with alumni, as well as with faculty and current students, to design and deliver a programme of activities to foster a lively, supportive and intellectually engaged alumni community. The post-holder will also help to develop enhanced systems and processes for contact with and between alumni.
Note: this post is substantively based in the LSE School of Public Policy. For a one-year trial period, the post-holder will work across both the School of Public Policy and LSE’s European Institute, working with each department’s alumni community.
Candidates should have some experience of working with alumni or similar discrete stakeholder communities, and events management/administration experience would be desirable. Candidates will need the ability to develop positive relationships with a broad range of contacts within and outside LSE, will need initiative to plan and organise their own workload effectively and excellent written and verbal communication. Courteous, articulate and efficient, the post-holder will be the first point of contact for alumni with the department.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
For further information about the post, please see the how to apply document, job description and the person specification.
