Applications are invited for a Full Professor in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering post within UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.
The UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering has a long and distinguished track record of achievement. The School delivers an undergraduate programme in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering (originally established as Chemical Engineering in 1952), accredited by the IChemE, as well as a highly successful taught Master's programme in Biopharmaceutical Engineering and is host to a vibrant graduate research programme.
The School wishes to appoint a Full Professor in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership in at least one of the School's research areas of interest ( Biopharmaceutical Engineering, Energy conversion & Storage Technologies; Materials Design & Interfaces and Process Engineering), while further enhancing its international reputation in the chosen area of research; to lead the development of teaching and scholarship in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering in UCD through significant contributions to lecturing, research supervision, mentoring of junior staff and School administration.
95 Full Professor Salary Scale: €115,887- €148,886 per annum
Appointment on scale will be made commensurate with qualification and experience.
