The University is seeking to appoint an Associate Director to provide strategic leadership on behalf of Library Services to develop, direct and oversee the implementation of Library strategy, ensuring alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan. The Associate Director is responsible for leadership of the Service’s commitment to a high quality customer experience which is based on a close partnership with staff and students, including Liverpool John Moores Students Union (JMSU). You will have a highly customer oriented approach to service development and improvement with a focus on innovation and an emphasis on promoting service excellence. Additionally you will demonstrate an ability to foster strategic relationships with academic and professional services colleagues (including members of the University’s Executive Leadership Team), manage complex external relationships and manage innovation and change.
