We have an exciting opportunity in the AMRC for someone with a passion for Automation Technology looking to use their skills in building and installation to make an impact in a growing team and factory.

will join the Integration team in our large and diverse academic department of the Integrated Manufacturing group in Factory 2050. You will work in a well-connected team with world-leading reputations in delivering technology into industry. We are well known internationally for our research and are one of the largest research groups in Automation in the UK.

You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for technology integration by using your skills to deliver advanced automation solutions. As this role requires new ways of thinking, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in delivering cutting edge solutions. In this role, you will be required to support the building, installation and commissioning of automation solution machinery in Factory 2050.

You will have;

  • BTEC National certificate in Engineering (Electrical or similar).
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to assess and organise resources, and plan and progress work activities.
