We are seeking an enthusiastic biostatistician/epidemiologist to work with the Policy Research on Social Determinants and Health Inequalities group (Prof David Taylor-Robinson, Prof Dame Margaret, Whitehead and Dr. Ben Barr). The researcher will primarily work on an MRC funded project focused on addressing inequalities in health across the life-course, with a focus on child health, entitled: "Tackling inequalities in child health: Elucidating pathways, interventions and policies". This is an exciting opportunity to apply and develop skills in causal methods, biostatistics, social epidemiology, and evaluation of natural policy experiments to inform public health policy. You will join a multi-disciplinary team all focused on tackling health inequalities through action on the social determinants of health. You should have a PhD in Biostatistics or Epidemiology.
The post is available from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021.
