We are seeking an experienced intelligent systems developer as a core member of Forensic Testing Service's technology innovations. You will be primarily responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of a range of scheduling, planning and automation solutions. You will use your programming skills, analytic ability, knowledge of digital services and product innovation, business analysis and the ability to plan and support service adoption. Therefore strong technical and analytic skills and a good understanding of the factors that underpin successful software production, service development and support are essential.

You will work in the role as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University and Forensic Testing Service, a specialist UK laboratory, providing accredited, high quality analytical drug and alcohol testing, to the legal services for over 10 years. You will engage with business clients and work closely with business units to effectively embed new knowledge and practices within the company.
