Strathclyde Business School has excellent people, a strong research profile, considerable links to business and industry, and synergies between learning innovations and research.
The Department of Accounting and Finance is one of the UK’s major centres of research in both fields, with particular expertise in environmental accounting; management accounting; corporate finance; portfolio performance, and international investments. The Department provides an extensive range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research degrees and delivers outstanding student experience.
The Centre for Financial Regulation and Innovation has become a focal point of the University’s activities in this area, resulting in the launch of the first MSc in FinTech in the UK in collaboration with other departments within the University. The Department is central in developing a FinTech research cluster of the University. We are particularly keen to receive applications from experienced scholars with a track record of research leadership in either Financial Services or Financial Technologies.
We would love to hear from you if you have an internationally recognised research portfolio in this area, are publishing in leading international journals, are actively pursuing funding whilst building impactful collaborative links with industrial and business partners and if you have a passion for leading on teaching and learning.
