Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) has been cited as one of the top-rated departments in the UK and we are proud of our research excellence, our global industry engagement and our first-rate teaching. We deliver an outstanding student experience and our impactful research benefits our partners and society. Our department is very large and its activities span a wide range of areas and themes within the discipline of EEE. We have more than 65 academics, 100+ post-doctoral researchers and 250 PhD students, along with an undergraduate and Master’s student population of almost 1,000. We are seeking to bolster our academic team with outstanding academics, and we are interested in the area of energy storage, but welcome applicants from other backgrounds in the general electrical/electronic sphere. Depending on the skills and experience of the applicant, this may be a cross disciplinary joint appointment, e.g. with Chemical and Process Engineering.
