This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences. This is also an opportunity to join the growing and highly successful School of Life Sciences, which has a strong commitment to, and nationally leading reputation in, delivering high quality research and educational programmes.
Applications are welcomed from persons with experience of working in a laboratory environment within the biosciences and who has experience in operation of scientific instrumentation, laboratory and analytical equipment. Experience of demonstrating techniques in a laboratory environment is desirable. You will be qualified to a minimum of 5 GCSE (or equivalent qualification) passes including English, Maths and a Science related subject or equivalent experience or have equivalent professional experience.
You will be expected to provide a high level of technical support in the delivery of practical classes in the School’s undergraduate courses with an emphasis on Biology and Neuroscience. In addition, you will be required to provide technical support in the School’s research activity.
