It is an exciting time for digital services at the University of Wolverhampton and we are hoping that you will be a key part of it with us. We have just approved a new University Digital Strategy which has delivering digital confidence University-wide and digital transformation in all our services at its core. Alongside that is a comprehensive programme of investment and improvements to everything we do as an IT Services team.
These are the first in a set of new posts for the IT team which we hope will enable us to deliver the digital change to match the University’s exciting teaching learning research and professional services ambitions. We are looking to recruit to a Network Engineer/Analyst Operations role that will be fundamental in managing the transition to future network services whilst at the same time ensuring the efficient management of current operational services. You will work closely with the University Network Design Consultant and Design and Operations teams on the architecture of cutting edge network services.
With substantial experience of delivering complex organisational IT services you will also preferably hold network related certifications (e.g. Cisco / Juniper) and/or be ITIL qualified (e.g. Foundation)
