About the role
Our School of Engineering are seeking to make an academic appointment who will conduct research in the Aerospace & Computational Engineering research group in the general area of aerospace engineering.
You will undertake teaching, tutoring and administrative duties across a range of engineering courses, both at Leicester and at our international sites. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of courses and materials to enhance teaching delivery and to support the work of the School in developing and enhancing its reputation, both internal and external to the University.
With a PhD (or equivalent) and/or relevant research experience in an area generally relevant to aerospace engineering, you will be able to demonstrate a growing research record of international standing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as the ability to apply for funding and supervise PhD students. You will have a passion for the subject matter, ensuring our students have the very best experience possible.
