A well-established Sino-British University Programme in Chengdu, China (14 years of operation), is seeking an experienced Business Management Tutor to deliver modules for UK undergraduate programmes at levels 4, 5 and 6. The collaborative programmes have an existing faculty of around 45 academic staff, a reputation for stringent quality management and good levels of student achievement. Many students have gone on to complete post-graduate degrees at a number of high ranking institutions in the UK and elsewhere.
You will be expected to deliver core undergraduate business subjects including:

Experience of the UK higher education system and of working in, or with students from, the Chinese tertiary education sector will be an advantage, as will be an ability to deliver additional subjects including:
We require a post graduate business degree with ideally two years' post-qualification teaching experience. Familiarity with managing in a business environment would be an asset. The team in Chengdu is high calibre, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate familiarity with rigorous university quality management processes, professional accountability, flexibility, and strong intercultural team working skills. Evidence of having a reflective and student-centred approach to teaching should be demonstrated in any application for this position.
This is a contracted position, initially for one semester, starting in February 2020 and finishing in the summer of 2020 with an opportunity to renew the contract for the following academic year. We pride ourselves on a low staff turnover and seek to recruit staff who will consider staying longer term. On-campus accommodation is offered as part of the remuneration package along with airline tickets for travel to and from China. We have a strong commitment to staff development, with a dedicated staff development scheme, and also providing the opportunity for teaching staff to take a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (International) and MA in Education, both delivered through our UK partner university.
