We wish to recruit a skilled and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to join a team funded by the Medical Research Council to investigate brain signals (via EEG) in a young adult sample who had either an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or autism spectrum disorders (ASD) diagnosis in childhood.
This Medical Research Council study capitalises on the availability of two subsamples from a large-scale longitudinal twin study to examine the cognitive and neurophysiological basis of ADHD and ASD in early adulthood. Data collection is approaching completion, and therefore the post-holder will be responsible for carrying out EEG data pre-processing, EEG analysis and, further more advanced statistical analyses. In addition, she/he will contribute to interpretation of findings, preparation of reports and publications, and dissemination of the results.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 year.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
