Reporting to the Centre Manager for the Brevan Howard Centre, this is an exciting opportunity to join a professional, busy and expanding department.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing high quality/professional administrative support for the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis, on various Grant Projects and also EA support to the Associate Dean of Faculty and Research

You will have excellent communication skills and a pro-active attitude. You will also have the ability to work under pressure, working independently at times and within a team. You should have excellent MS Office and organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail.

Essential requirements

You will have a good level of education – minimum of A-level or equivalent experience.

In addition you must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • Previous experience working within a Higher Educational environment
  • Administrative, financial and project management experience
  • Ability to manage and meet budgets and the confidence to negotiate with external suppliers
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve
  • Be computer literate in word, excel, power point and outlook

In addition it will be advantageous if you have:

  • An interest in Business Education
  • Experience/knowledge of events organisation
  • Analytical and financial management skills
