36 hours per week, term time only.

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Advocate to support Business students with the development of their GCSE and Functional Skills in English and Maths, either on a one to one basis or in small groups. You would assist with initial and diagnostic assessment, set and review SMART targets and maximise students’ attendance to the sessions.

You should have good literacy and numeracy skills, and have some experience of working with young people with literacy or numeracy needs in an educational environment. You will have good communication skills and be able to motivate and build good working relationships with young people.
