Salary: Appointment will be made on the Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) Pay scale (105 Schedule B): €76,170 - €97,604 at a point in line with current Government pay policy

The School is seeking applicants who have an outstanding international reputation in the field of strategic management. Applications will be welcome across the broad field of strategic management which encompasses areas such as strategic leadership; sustainable business practices and sustainability; corporate governance; global strategy; strategic decision-making. The School delivers a suite of postgraduate, undergraduate and executive programmes and is seeking an associate professor to build upon the teaching and research expertise within the School. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated strong academic leadership, excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and a consistent, strong academic record of research; exemplified by publication in prestigious peer reviewed journals. The associate professor in strategic management will further contribute to the delivery of teaching as well as programme and module development.
The School intends to hire a research-active academic who at Associate Professor level will have a minimum of six publications ranked by the Chartered Association of Business School at or above level 3 (ABS 3 star). Applicants who meet these requirements to include publications in the FT50 are at an advantage.
The ideal candidate(s) for the post(s) will have a relevant PhD, high quality research publications and will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research and administration/management, consistent with the demands of 21st Century business education.
