We are looking for an experienced individual to lead the delivery of our multi award-winning BDes(Hons) Graphic Design programme into the next phase of its development. Founded 13 years ago, the programme has to date won nearly sixty student design awards, as well as four times in the last five years receiving a best in show award at D&AD New Blood graduate showcase in London.
This is one of the top Graphic Design programmes in the UK. We have strong links with industry, locally, nationally and internationally.

As a Lecturer in Graphic Design, you will:
You will be joining a team of academics with strong credentials in professional practice and research.
Who we are looking for
You will demonstrate expertise across graphic design genres including typographic design, art direction, digital production, and print craft, but particularly in digital graphic design and demonstrate high working knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
You will have a combination of extensive industry experience in these areas, and academic leadership, with evidence of having managed and led an exceptional student experience. We welcome applicants who can also support our research and knowledge exchange strategy. A PhD is desirable, but not essential.
The post holder should be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy or eligible for a fast-track application. The role will involve international travel.
