Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity is looking for specialist Disability Advisor to support students with a range of disabilities, primarily those with long term health conditions, visual impairment and physical disabilities, whilst specialising in D/deafness.
The successful applicant will provide individual support, advice and guidance to disabled applicants and students, whilst supporting the development of all University based services aimed at improving inclusivity for all students.
They will also be an excellent communicator, able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team whilst being confident in multi-tasking and time managing a varied workload. They will have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities of Higher Education Institutions regarding The Equality Act 2010 and a commitment to the Social Model of disability.
