We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to join Professor Graham Oggs Group at the MRC Human Immunology Unit (HIU) based at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

The successful candidate will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research for COVID-19-specific immune responses and supporting less experienced members of the research group, including postdocs, research assistants, technicians, and PhD and project students.

As part of your responsibilities you will manage your own academic research and administrative activities, with some COVID-19 related work. This involves small scale project management, and regular sample processing, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.

You will test hypotheses and analyse scientific data from a variety of sources, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate

To be considered for this position you should hold a relevant PhD/DPHIL, together with relevant immunology experience.

You should possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the study of antigen-specific T cells to work within established research programmes

The post is full time and fixed-term for 12 months in the first instance.
