The School of Life Sciences is continuing to expand and optimise its impressive portfolio of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. We are looking for an Assistant Lecturer to join our dedicated team to deliver our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes with expertise in at least one of the following biological sciences subject areas: Biochemistry and biotechnology. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and be able to contribute to a high quality learning and teaching experience.
Within their subject area the appointee will be required to: design and curate learning materials; develop and conduct active online and onsite workshops; run practical sessions and tutorials; supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students research projects; contribute to departmental and course administration and curriculum development. Academic leadership, such as module leadership may also be part of the role.
