We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, collaborative, high-performing academic member of staff to contribute to our programmes in Primary Education. Leeds Trinity has a proud tradition of working in Teacher Education and this post represents part of a significant investment in the Institute of Childhood and Education. Our Primary Education provision includes undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for both 3-7 and 5-11 age phases, including a portfolio of School Direct and PGCert provision developed in close partnership with schools. The Institute also has strong provision in the wider area of children, young people and families and now wants to build on the synergies between ITE and this provision to become one of the leaders in this field, delivering outstanding research and practice that positively impacts on children, young people and families across our region.
We are currently seeking to enhance our provision of the science curriculum across all of our Primary Education programmes. The postholder will work as part of the Primary Education core curriculum team, teaching and leading in the subject of science across age phases 3-11.
