Solent University is focused on developing future ready students, enhancing students experience as well as developing its research culture and focus. The Psychology team at Solent are part of the School of Social Sciences, Psychology and Education and within the portfolio there are several successful UG Psychology programmes and a MRES Psychology. As we enter an exciting period of growth, we are seeking to appoint a Course Leader in PWP.
The purpose of this post is to lead on the development of the PWP programmes in the School, including an apprenticeship route, as well as contribute to our successful UG Psychology (counselling and mental health) programme. The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience or practice or be close to completion of PhD and have a qualification in Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and/or qualification at Masters Level in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Along with experience in Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner practice and/or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy some experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, or demonstrable potential to engage in teaching and learning support in engaging and innovative ways and strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this post.
