The Divinity department of the University of Aberdeen invites expressions of interest from doctoral graduates and those approaching completion whose applications might be supported by us in the current and upcoming calls for British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships, Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships, and Marie-Curie Fellowships.
These Fellowship schemes support outstanding early career researchers to pursue and develop their scholarship further within the formative context of the lively and supportive research culture of university departments such as our own. The number of applications that can be supported is limited and so we especially invite expressions of interest for projects well-aligned with existing departmental strengths. Further details about department and its research profile can be found at: www.abdn.ac.uk/sdhp/divinity-religious-studies.
In order to be considered, it will be necessary to submit an expression of interest by 1st August 2021.
Your application should include a concise CV including clear indication of the date of your PhD completion (or expected completion) together with a two-page research proposal indicating your research question, proposed approach, and identifying a suitable supervisor from within the department.
Informal questions may be directed to Professor John Behr at firstname.lastname@example.org.
