Two posts 

We are looking for two Lecturers with expertise in international relations for delivery and organisation of UG and PG programmes. 

The Opportunity:

You will contribute to and manage the delivery and organisation of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, provide advice and support to students, and contribute to curriculum and course development and renewal. 

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A PhD in international relations or relevant fields of politics, either submitted or awarded by the time of appointment
  • Evidence of recent, sustained and developing attainments in teaching, appropriate to career stage, also indicative of commitment to, and potential for, excellence in teaching, including ability to develop IR courses/programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and online and distance learning.
  • Evidence of successfully driving improvement in student teaching and learning experience.
  • Evidence of attainments in, or skills sufficient to the development of, a full range of supervisory activities, especially Honours and PGT dissertations.
  • Skills in managing, motivating and supporting people (including both students and colleagues); excellent interpersonal skills.
