We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Officer to provide essential first-line support across the Faculty of Classics and the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford, as part of an inter-faculty IT support team.

The successful applicant will require knowledge, experience and technical competence across a broad range of computing areas. These include user support, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software, server and desktop operating systems, AV support and networking. This post will play a crucial role within the Inter-Faculty IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to use and strengthen your IT skills and knowledge in a range of different contexts. Training and support via the University’s IT Services will be available, and you will be part of a large community of IT staff across the collegiate University.
There is also opportunity for the postholder to spend some time working in other faculties within the Humanities Division.
This role is permanent and full-time.
