Cardiff University School of Social Sciences is seeking to recruit a Research Associate to work within the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research and Data (WISERD) that is located within the School.
In this role as a Research Associate you will be undertaking research and analysis within the WISERD Education Data Lab. You will generate high quality research-based evidence to help inform and challenge our understanding of educational processes and outcomes to support the Wales education sector meet the aims of Education in Wales: our national mission 2017-2021 (Welsh Government, 2017). In addition, to contribute to the overall research performance of WISERD, the School of Social Sciences and University. To pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same.
The post will be based within WISERD (at Cardiff University) and will be line managed by Dr Jennifer Hampton.
This post is full time and is available from 1st August 2021 and is fixed term until 31st July 2023.
Salary: £33,797 - £40,322 per annum (Grade 6)
