The WBS Teaching & Learning Enhancement Team plays a pivotal role in supporting and developing pedagogic practices and innovations at Warwick Business School. Working closely with individual academics, Teaching and Learning Consultants provide expertise in the areas of technology enhanced learning; online materials development (leading on the design of module content for our world-leading Distance Learning MBA); pedagogic innovation; assessment and feedback. In addition, Teaching and Learning Consultants play a strategic role in the implementation of various School-wide initiatives to improve the quality of Teaching and Learning.
You will need to be creative, computer-literate and be able to demonstrate experience in designing and producing distance learning content, with up-to-date knowledge of current developments in distance and blended learning. You should also have a good understanding of other key aspects of Higher Education, such as assessment practices, curriculum design and teaching large cohorts.
You will need excellent communication skills, good organisational ability and experience in new technologies, especially in Higher Education. You will need excellent attention to detail and have the highest standards in terms of learning resource design. You will preferably have knowledge of management education and experience of project management.
