A position is available for a Research Officer / Nurse to support the Biomechanics & Bioengineering Research Centre Versus Arthritis. The position will be based in the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Facility in the School of Engineering.
The job will focus on supporting all aspects of the research, working as part of a team involved in movement analysis in relation to musculoskeletal health particularly osteoarthritis its causal factors and treatment. It will contribute to the excellent international reputation of the research into arthritis that is well established at Cardiff.
The successful candidate will be RGN qualified or hold a degree in Physiotherapy or have experience in clinical research and recruitment of research participants, have excellent patient-care skills, excellent communication skills, to effectively communicate with patients and all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
This is a part-time position of 21 hours per week and fixed term for 9 months due to project timelines and associated funding.
Salary: £27,924 – £32,344 per annum, pro-rata for hours worked (Grade 5).
