This role provides an exciting opportunity to co-ordinate the administration of the Precision Imaging Beacon and the role holder will undertake the key administrative tasks of co-coordinating all aspects of the day-to-day financial operations, monitoring of spend against budget, purchasing, provision of financial reports, resolution of queries and supporting the organization of events.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the wider administrative team and as such will be a team player. Externally and in the wider School, the role-holder is expected to liaise with central support services, academic staff and the NHS in order to fulfil the role.

Candidates must have a good standard of education evidenced by an HNC/HND, or equivalent plus English and Mathematics at GCSE or equivalent or substantial work experience in further or higher education. Candidates must also have excellent IT skills including advanced use of Microsoft Office packages, particular Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and a good working knowledge of SharePoint and Teams. Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills are required, including proven ability to manage a demanding workload involving multiple projects with accuracy and a high attention to detail despite competing priorities and challenging deadlines.  Experience of Agresso and other University systems would be a distinct advantage.

This is a fixed-term position available until 31st July 2022. The post is part-time (18.7 hours per week) applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work job share or secondment.
