This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear Course undertaking teaching, assessment and academic support for technical development throughout the course. Working as part of a committed team, you will deliver seminars and practical workshops on the pattern cutting, construction and 3D realisation for the development of technical and creative garments for sportswear.
It is a chance to contribute to both research and design approaches within the course and wider College.
Ready to undertake teaching, assessment, unit management, curriculum development and research, you will provide pastoral and academic support to our diverse range of students. You will also build and refresh our links with those in professional practice and related industries.

With a good level of experience working in sportswear, experience of the Higher Education sector and qualified to degree level or above in fashion design or similar, you will have a strong enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge and experience with our students and supporting them as they build their own future experiences. This will be matched by a flair for inspirational communication skills whilst also providing constructive and critical support. Able to adapt media to suit your audience, you will have strong planning skills and become a key member of staff for both the planning and delivery of the course.
It is likely that you will have an understanding of web 2 technologies, Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) systems, and Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll definitely have a creative approach to problem solving together with a passion for developing your own knowledge.
