Do you want to be at the forefront of driving the delivery of our vision and commitment to advancing social inclusion and social mobility?
As part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy, we are currently reimagining how we develop a fully inclusive institutional climate and are currently recruiting to our new team, based in the Centre for Inclusion and Diversity (CfID).
Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor [EDI], you will lead the CfID team, working across research, academic and policy development, and influencing work that contributes to the EDI movement locally, regionally and globally. The role of Associate Director EDI will play a pivotal role in the future strategy and operational delivery of the CfID's priorities.
You will have demonstrable experience of developing and managing a substantial EDI provision, capturing both high-quality service delivery and essential compliance oversight. You will also have excellent leadership, management and influencing skills and the highest levels of cultural competence.
We want to bring together people with different personal experiences and diverse perspectives to build a team that works collectively to make a real difference to our University community.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds and are fully committed to supporting all our employees so that they feel able to be their whole self at work. We particularly welcome applications from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME), Disabled, LGBT+ and Non-binary candidates.
