The University of Nottingham is seeking to appoint a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) as part of a new central Commercial function. Following a successful track record in delivering commercial profit at the University of Nottingham, we now have an ambition to grow our commercial income further and in new ways.
The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) will report to the Head of Commercial within the Commercial Team. The role will be key to ensuring the University meets its strategic goal of financial sustainability by delivering on the commercial strategic plan to deliver mid term financial profit.
As part of the commercial team the CPM will work across two main workstreams. Firstly, driving specific commercial opportunity delivery within the commercial pipeline across a hugely varied commercial landscape. The CPM will adopt an appropriate role from full project management to lighter stakeholder support. These commercial opportunities will focus on enhancing existing commercial activity, new ventures and supporting recovery in areas affected by the Covid pandemic.
Secondly, as part of the strategic plan the CPM will lead the development of key commercial initiatives which aim to improve the Universities commercial capabilities and culture.
The CPM will be customer and market focused, data driven and passionate about engaging stakeholders and teams to deliver profit.
