The PGR Coordinator position is a key member of the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) PGR support team, providing expert advice and support and delivering an end-to-end service to both staff and students. The role will ensure that transparent, fair and consistent practice is applied across the NMES PGR support service, providing standard working practices, processes and templates. It will provide support to the Faculty PGR Manager and oversee the work of the department based PGR Officers to ensure the team are providing the local support our departments require, the team have the guidance and support they need and best practice is being shared and adopted. Other important responsibilities include developing and supporting initiatives to improve the student experience, monitoring supervisor training and coordinate PGR training and development.
