We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Partner to join the NDM HR Centres of Excellence. You will possess in-depth HR Generalist knowledge and have experience of working in a forward-facing HR role that demonstrates your track record for delivering a high quality service to staff and managers. 

You will act as a true business partner and trusted advisor to our stakeholders, developing strong working relationships with managers and colleagues across the Department and University with ease, establishing yourself as their key contact. You will line manage a team of HR Operations Advisors and Coordinators, where you will lead by example and ensure their workload is well managed, and their work is conducted efficiently and accurately to ensure a high quality service is delivered. You will be expected to support and develop these staff, identifying training needs and suitable training. 

You will possess a professional approach when managing ambiguity and have resilience to drive the right behaviours and be an excellent oral and written communicator with Intermediate IT Skills. 

You will be educated to CIPD level 5 (Diploma) and have Associate CIPD membership or higher with significant HR experience obtained in an academic environment, with well-developed, pro-active and up-to-date practical knowledge of employment law. It is essential that you have proven ability and motivation to work in a highly demanding team environment with the ability to respond as required to requests and deadlines ensuring a highly organised and structured approach to work. 

The position is a fixed-term contract (maternity cover and secondment) until 30 November 2022 and is funded by the Department.
