The successful candidate will be undertaking clinical research in Rheumatology concerning biomarkers and treatment of inflammatory arthritis. While the post is initially fixed term for one year, it will be reviewed and there is a possibility it may be extended, allowing the research to form the basis for a MD or PhD. This is subject to certain targets and criteria being met. The role includes a clinical care component and attending general rheumatology clinics. You will also assist in the teaching and supervision of undergraduates and postgraduates.
The successful candidate will have GMC registration and, ideally, experience of the design, conduct and regulatory applications involved in clinical research. Postgraduate clinical experience is required, including core medical training.
This post is full time (40 hours per week), fixed term for 1 year and available immediately.
Salary: £34,320 - £59,424 per annum (Clinical Grade D1 scale)
