We are seeking an experienced and committed individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the Print & Design Solutions Management Team as Graphic Design Manager.
As the Graphic Design Manager, you will be a key enabler to the growth of the Print and Design Solutions Department (P&DS). This is a critical role and an important role for the University. The post holder will attend, input and advise senior managers in Corporate Communications and Student Recruitment with University campaigns and engagement. You will work closely with senior members of the Events and Examination teams, as well as working with senior members of all Faculties and their departments, to produce graphics to support them. You will act as a University brand ambassador and custodian, encouraging the appropriate use of the visual identity within the design team and departments, by ensuring accurate and consistent representation within the brand guidelines.
Reporting to the Campus Services Business Development Manager, you will support the P&DS management team by providing expert advice and support to your design team, ensuring that all training and workforce planning activities of your team, University policies and best practice are met. The need to develop and maintain networks within EFM departments and the wider University community is imperative. This role is both strategic and operational where you will be expected to manage multiple concurrent and complex initiatives and projects at any one time.
You will play a key role in engaging and developing the Design team in P&DS to enhance the student experience, provide quality assurance, comply with relevant legislation and ensure a sustainable, efficient and effective operation. You will be committed to the broader remit of staff development and be passionate about embedding, sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion practices across EFM.
