As a member of the Language Centre’s Management and Administration Support Service (MASS), you will provide efficient and effective support to the Centre Manager in ensuring the effective management of administrative processes across the Language Centre. Working closely with other MASS team members and School, Faculty, University Services and external colleagues, you will take a lead in ensuring that operational internal processes relating to human resources, financial management, estates, IT for the Centre’s year round programming and support for accreditation inspections are carried out smoothly and effectively.
With experience of working in an administrative role in a large complex organisation, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and suggest improvements to the service provided. Working primarily on your own initiative, you will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. You will work collaboratively with other colleagues across the University and beyond to share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
