A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Children and Young People Nursing team within the Faculty of Health and Applied Science at the University of the West of England. This is an exciting time to actively contribute to new pathways developed for the present and “future nurse” education and beyond registration.

You will join a passionate and dedicated team, who is committed to enhancing the health and social wellbeing of children, young people and their families’.  The Children and Young People Nursing Team is part of the wider nursing family and aims to engage and transform the lives of whom we support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, adaptable and innovative individual to join our team permanently who are willing to work in partnership with practice partners across the South West region, and make a meaningful contribution to transforming healthcare practice and delivering the workforce of tomorrow.

The Children and Young Peoples’ Nursing provision at UWE enjoys a positive partnership with many practice partners, which has been built over many years.  Integral to the Future Nurse programme, is co-production with CYP, their families and service users in the development and delivery of the programme.  As an active member of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop and contribute to your own CPD portfolio and the wider aspiration of UWE.

The Faculty of Health and Applied Science success is built upon learning activities and opportunities that enhance the student experience and journey through innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies. You will be passionate, motivated and have a strong contemporary clinical practice background and experience in teaching and assessment in higher education or clinical practice.
