The post holder will be part of the multi-skilled Network Services team which is responsible for providing the business critical IT network and telephony infrastructure that supports and underpins the teaching, research, administration, security and related activities on the University’s main campus, student residences and satellite sites. This role sits within the Core Network section of Network Services. You will have the opportunity to work within a varied and diverse environment undertaking both operational and development tasks across a number of core networking elements including routing, VPN, firewalls and load balancing. This will include investigating new technologies and assisting in the planning and delivery of essential medium to long term network transformation.
