The role

As the Senior Manager for the Process Mapping team you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the team, ensuring the delivery of accurate documentation to agreed timescales. Owning the relationship with the Senior Change Manager to support embedding any changes as a result of the implementation of our new computing system. 

The role will work as part of the Student Systems Business Implementation Team and will report into the Senior Business Readiness Manager, managing a team of 7 direct reports. We are looking for someone who is motivated to drive their team to succeed and who will actively play their part in achieving that success. If this sounds like you, please read on.

Skills and experience 

  • Experience of evaluating existing processes and associated process maps, implementing changes, and recommending adjustments to workflows, schedules, or other processes, as needed.
  • Strong technical writing with experience in delivering end-user documentation including procedures, process maps and training materials.
  • Demonstrable track record of effective prioritisation to meet a complex set of business demands and demonstrate delivery against multiple objectives
  • Experience planning a complex area of work for your team, producing a project plan and monitoring adherence to that plan.
  • Ability to put in place the appropriate frameworks and infrastructure to support a new team in delivering a complex set of deliverables.
  • Advanced skills in MS Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
