We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Clinical Trial Manager to join the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Research Group (PIDRG) and the St George’s Vaccine Institute team. The PIDRG is internationally recognised as a leading centre for PID research and undertakes a variety of projects and studies in children focusing on clinical trials, cohort studies, perinatal infections and optimization of the best use of antimicrobials in children.
As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and coordinating a UK based multicentre COVID19 vaccine trial. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams at the Vaccine Institute, the PIDRG and the Women’s and Children’s Services, amongst others. The role will involve travelling to sites and interacting with the funder and collaborating organisations.
It is essential that you have experience in clinical trial management, management of projects budgets and finances, are organised and have excellent attention to detail. As you will be dealing with a wide range of colleagues throughout the institution as well as members of the public it is vital that you have really strong communication skills and maintain a professional manner.
