Working as part of a team our Student Recruitment (Enquiry and Conversion) Assistant will assist with the delivery of recruitment and conversion activities in order to support Kingston University’s recruitment and conversion plans and strategies.

The post holder will work flexibly, contributing across all areas of the wider marketing, student recruitment and events team, which will involve working events, and supporting and collaborating the wider team’s objectives. Assisting with recruiting students from first enquiry through to enrolment the role includes managing email communications and playing an active role in Open Days, Applicant Days and UCAS Fairs.

The Person

Our new team member will regularly work as part of the larger team which includes our marketing professionals, events team and admissions colleagues across our four campuses in Kingston Upon Thames. They will also work closely with our fantastic team of student ambassadors when representing the university at events.

Acting as the front-line response for all incoming enquiries from prospective students, schools and colleges, the post holder will work to ensure a consistently excellent experience for prospective students, applicants and offer holders.

We are looking for real team players with great organisational skills and the ability to manage a complex set of priorities with good humour and energy.

The Directorate for Students attracts and supports an inclusive student body, ensuring students become sought-after graduates through career enhancement and a focus on wellbeing.

Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home, EU and overseas students.

It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions. This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services. Together we are committed to widening access and improving customer service across the entire applicant journey.

This is a full time permanent position with a starting salary of £25,312 per annum.
