About the Role

The OPD Adviser will play a key role in helping our colleagues to flourish and deliver on Queen Mary’s vision “to open the doors of opportunity”.

The OPD adviser will work collaboratively with leaders and teams to diagnose and respond to current and future organisational and individual needs. They will lead on organisation/learning development projects and contribute to our open programme of learning. In addition, they will partner with a particular faculty and will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on organisational/learning development

About You

You will have:

  • experience of needs analysis, developing, delivering and evaluating learning development projects and events
  • ability to build relationships and work in partnership with colleagues
  • knowledge of theories and practices relating to learning and/or organisational development and leadership/management development
  • a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion

Organisational and Professional Development is a supportive team of 8 that sits within the Human Resources Department.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,084 - £44,807 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
