Our growing Intellectual Property Commercialisation team is a partner in the Northern Accelerator programme which is driving a step change in research commercialisation.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaged colleague to join our small, flexible and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in identifying research with commercial potential; evaluating the Intellectual Property position, supporting patenting where appropriate and structuring development plans to move the research towards commercialisation.

The role also contributes to the training and development of academic colleagues in areas related to IP commercialisation.
This post directly contributes to the University’s partnership in the Northern Accelerator CCF programme. The post holder will collaborate with academic colleagues to shape opportunities into applications for Feasibility Awards and Proof of Concept Awards.
