The University has made significant investment in Sports Lancaster over recent years with the latest phase a new 8-court badminton sports hall completed in June 2020 and now offering a truly outstanding Sports Facility.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Sport Operations Manager to work within the Facilities Division at Lancaster University. Your role will be to lead the operational management of the Sport Lancaster Facilities, ensuring safe and effective working practices are in place which are delivered to an exceptional level of customer standards. You will be leading and motivating the sport operations team in the delivery of the operational and financial strategy.
You will have relevant management experience in Sport and Leisure as well as having demonstrable experience of successfully leading, managing and developing teams. You will have a proven record of delivering improved performance and managing change in a customer focused environment.
Facilities is a large division with circa 600 staff with complex service demands and you will provide a senior leadership role within the team.
