Indigo Tree is a website design and development agency with expertise in digital solutions, content creation and SEO for businesses, schools, and agencies across the UK. We provide a strategic and well-rounded offering – from business and brand strategy to experience-led design and technology.
Research with clients informs us they find their websites hard to manage, maintain, and understand over time - primarily due to content editors struggling with complicated tools, unintuitive systems, and siloed third-party integrations and reports. This is exacerbated as users have different standards of digital literacy and understanding of accessibility.
The aim of this role is to support Indigo Tree in creating an innovative digital product, with a focus on accessibility, digital inclusion, and usability, that allow us to address these challenges in a repeatable, scalable and efficient way.
The successful applicant will support the Indigo Tree engineering team in creating an innovative digital product that integrates with and extends WordPress, with a focus on accessibility, digital inclusion, and usability. This role would suit a web developer who is interested in expanding their skills and employability by moving into a product and client-focused role. You will lead the research on user requirements and be expected to effectively and continuously engage with several stakeholders to identify user requirements and use their technical expertise to build the product.
Responsibilities and duties
