About the Role
Applications are invited for the post of Centre Administrator within the Blizard Institute. The post holder will provide administrative, budgetary and secretarial support to the Centre Lead and Centre Manager and other members of centre staff.
Candidates must have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload. Administrative experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in higher education, is essential.
About the Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is the largest of seven Institutes within Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. The Institute comprises approximately 400 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment with an expected start date of November 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £28,208 - £34,733 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
