Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are currently recruiting for 4 Postdoctoral Research Fellows (2-year fixed-term) in Artificial Intelligence to work as a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation Research Group within the School of Engineering and Computer Science.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct high-quality research in the area of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly modelling and symbolic regression, evolutionary feature selection, and dimensionality reduction, evolutionary deep learning and transfer learning, text mining and natural language processing, evolutionary scheduling and combinatorial optimisation, evolutionary clustering and unsupervised learning, and interpretable AI. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be required to work with other members of the Evolutionary Computation Research Group within the School in a proactive, cooperative, and collegial manner. The Postdoctoral Fellow will also be required to contribute to the teaching in Artificial Intelligence including postgraduate supervision.
