The School of Linguistic, Speech and Communications Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Speech and Language Pathology. This post is central to the undergraduate and postgraduate educational activities within the Department. The appointee will be expected to collaborate with colleagues in teaching, research supervision and clinical practice support for students registered for the undergraduate speech and language therapy programme within the department. In addition, the post-holder may contribute to postgraduate activities through teaching and/or project supervision in the areas of developmental speech, language, and communication disorders.
The School of Linguistic, Speech and Communications Sciences seeks to appoint a full-time Assistant Professor in Speech and Language Pathology. The successful candidate will have a PhD and will carry out teaching and research on aspects of developmental speech, language, and communication impairments. The post holder will also be responsible for administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Discipline, in line with the workload model of the School.
Candidates should have well-developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy [€35,509 to €87,739 per annum]. Appointment will be made no higher than point 8 (i.e., €50,410).
